Whats your wedding theme ?

Am thinking Vintage/Shabby chic for my winter wedding.
Sage green , ivory, pale greys

What is your theme and colour pallett.
What are you doing to bring theme to life ??

We're having an afternoon tea recpetion - so vintage elegance, pretty,feminine, stylish, english garden etc. We're using a neutral colour sheme - creams, ivories, golds, beige etc with cream garden roses as the main flower... :-) Probably have touches of the palest pink thrown in as well for good measure!

Our colour is Royal blue. Our theme is ???? A bit of a mismatch. Kind of hobbies and personalised I suppose. Music is a big thing, films are the table plan, favours are personalised as our lots of initialed stuff with our initials. Main idea is blue and fun.

i keep trying to think of themes, but im stumped!!!
my friend had a grecian theme at hers, and it looked lovely, through flowers and little touches, and where she got her inspiration was her dress, it was grecian.

the only thing i can think of, is elegance, and romance, but i dont know how to turn that into a theme????

Don't really have a theme but was originally inspired by grecian style-bridesmaids are wearing purple one shoulder dresses and my dress was a very simple ivory chiffon empire a-line dress. I've since bought a new wedding dress-princess style, tulle and beading but everything else has stayed the same!

Music is also very important to both myself and OH so alot of effort has gone in to choosing the church music. The tables are named after classical composers and opera composers.

We're having red and gold... The colour red means a lot to himself as he is a huge Liverpool fan I also like the colour as I find it warm and romantic. It'll all look nice when it is pieced together :D

Getting married in Rome so colours are Gold, cream, red, and surprise surprise the theme is ancient rome :-)

mine was going to be a scottish/irish theme as i'm origianally from scotland but this has since changed, and all because of my wedding shoes lol,they have butterflies on the side of them,

then i saw some lanterns that where reduced so i got them and they have butterflies on them also,

so have now decided to go for a subtle butterfly them,thinking of doing something like this for invites

but in ivory and teal as that will be the main colours,will have a few other subtle touches aswell,well its all in head at least just hope it all turns out ok on the day

I don't really have a theme but if I take a look at what I have decided for my wedding it would be little like a barbie princess I think I'm rubbing off my 3 year old daughter

I am as blond as barbie and found my perfect fairytale venue and an old church, my bridesmaid will be hot pink

The venue has gold wallpaper all round and I'm having up lighters in pink

Its funny really coz I don't even where a lot of pink :yelrotflmaosmilie:

I have teal BM dresses with baby pink flowers trying to keep it cute and girly!!! have a hint of man utd (table names, seating plan) as H2B huge utd fan!! not obsessing with sticking to a 'theme' just keeping it girly (like me)

+1.... And I dont even have a 3 year old dayghter as an excuse :o0

I'd describe my theme as Barbie's Dream Wedding meets Willie Wonka's Chocolate factory on a budget with loads of fun, smiles, pink, sparkle, sweets and elegance. Now I know that soiunds horrendously tacky but I swear its not! I'll post photos in my wedding report in August to prove it :o0
