Bridesmaid Dresses - What do you think?

Bridesmaid Dresses - What do you think?

Postby FutureMrsS » Thu May 03, 2022 2:12 pm

Hey everybody, bought my bridesmaid dresses yesterday! Wedding is in August in the afternoon!! What does everybody think?? :-)

I was thinking of "jazzing" them up a bit with a champagne ribbon around the middle as a sash, with tan pumps, and a cute beige shrug/cardigan... Yes, no, indifferent??

Wouldn't be my personal choice but they do need something to jazz them up alright. Wouldn't be 100% sure the champagne/ beige colour would work with them? What colour is your own dress?

What about a pale pink or is your heart set on a beigey colour? If I remember rightly they suit your afternoon tea team but I'd definitely have to add to them

My dress is kind of dark cream... "ivory gold" apparently! So neutrals etc would go pretty well I think... I'd thought of pink... a really pale dusty rose would be pretty... oh prefers the antique gold colour scheme to pinks though!

I would go for pale pink or nude with them.

I actually really like them! Especially if you're not wearing white. Fab!!

I think they're gorgeous, perfect for your theme. I'm a big fan of champagne/coffee colours, I think they'd look stunning with champagne sashes and cardis or shawls and the tan shoes. Gorgeous! :lvs

Not my cup of tea if I'm honest. It's more from a colour perspective. I think it's nice to inject colour into the wedding and BM dresses. Between your dress and theirs it's Kate Middleton and staid (even her flowers were colourless/white). The BM dresses themselves are nice but not the colour. Even with colourful accessories they wouldn't be for me.

Oh i like your dresses. They are so pretty and feminine.. Lovely. I dont know about the beige though. I think Dusky pink would be nice and add a small bit of subtle colour.

Lol brideorbridezilla! That's what we've planned alright! :-) I really like neutrals! Although I know a lot of people think its boring but hey, u can't please everyone! My hair is "strawberry-blonde" according to hairdressers so the creams and glds are really flattering!! I like dusty rose but OH had requested the golds over pink so apart from loving those colours anyway, I sort of have to have them!!!

+1 these dresses are fab. I think adding colour would take away from the dresses. I'd stick to the neutral colours to match in your own dress
