Gift for granny coming to the wedding

Hi,

This seems like a silly question but I am at a loss....my granny has decided to come to our wedding in Italy even though she is 84. It took her a long time to make up her mind and I think she is still upset that she is leaving my grandad behind (he is not well but will be cared for by relatives!). It means so much to me that she is coming as we are close, I lived with her for 4 years while at college!
I want to buy her something to give her on the day as a Thank You but I am at a loss... was thinking of a Newbridge photoframe that I could put a lovely pic of us in but that just seems boring!!

Any ideas for me??

i think thats a really nice gift to give to your granny. it would mean a lot to her and sentimental value behind it would be priceless. i would defo go with a photo frame idea. Id say she would love it.

What we did for OH's granny was get my friend to take a photo of me, OH and his granny outside the church and my friend went and got it printed out and framed and we presented it to his granny during the dinner

(did the same for the mothers)

Thanks girls, it does seem like a lovey idea! and she has a mantlepiece full of photos from all her grandkids so I am sure she will like it!
