Shoe Update (Kind of) Any Alterations Recommendations?

Maybe this should go in LOS but here goes...

So I ordered the expensive shoes and they got delivered to my bridal shop where I've got my dress. They called me today to let me know they had arrived and that they were open til 8 so I said I'd call in on my way home from work. :o)ll Yay! I had a massage booked after work - mega stressed at work of late, major knots in my upper back and between neck and top of arms to point that I was nearly crying in bed last night with pain and OH had to give me a massage to get me off to sleep (and we get subsidised massages on site so that's good). Anyway head to the shop after my lovely massage, park in car park, pay for parking, walk to shop and they are shut. It was 730! O:| I knocked on window, rang their number, after 5 minute message about opening hours bladdy blah finally get to leave a message and tell them how annoyed I am, I'm here it's 730 I was called and told they'd be open til 8, I've paid for parking etc. If there was an emergency and they had to close early a call to me or a note on the door would have been appreciated. Could they call me back to confirm they will be open Sat 930 to 530 as they should be as that's when next I could collect them. Grrrrrrrrr.

I know I am maybe over-reacting - 8 weeks to the big day, loads going on at work etc. but I'm now considering when I collect the shoes collecting my dress too and getting my alterations done back at home in Ireland(I'm in London). My first fitting is booked in in the shop here in three weeks' time.

Am I crazy? Should I just stick with them? Poor customer service like this really grates on me, particularly after they called and said they're open til 8 and it ruined my lovely post massage buzz/shoe excitement! But it's making me consider not handing over another couple of hundred quid for my alterations...

If you're still with me at the end of this post any recommendations on alterations in the Dublin/Wicklow area?!

PS - Also making me think it's a sign and I'm not meant to have the fancy expensive shoes! :o(
