Bride Speech, what did you say?

I am going to say a few words the day of the wedding. I need Help, what do I say??
I know thank my parents,

My wedding coordinator said if the bride is making a speech she should about her parents, her new family ie hubby's parents but only if there is a genuine good relationship there, bridesmaids, any specific people who have done a lot for you in your life or helped a lot with wedding and of course your new husband!

I will be thanking mostly my parents and my then hubbie :o)ll as no-one but me knows how special they are to me and I think no one really talks about the groom. I'll ask thank my inlaws, bridal party and those who have helped us (we will split between us so as not to double up too much)

Im going to do my speech first to get it out of the way, so I am going to welcome everyone, thank the people that helped me in the run up to the day, thank the bridesmaids, thank my parents and OH's family and then something about my OH. Though I have been going over it in my head and I don't know how I will get through it without any tears.

Just make sure you check with your new Hubbie what he is saying, as i was at a wedding once where the bride gave a speech and afterwards the Hubbie went to speak but she had thanked everyone and said everything, and he was left with nothing to say, it was a bit awkward..

I didn't plan to speak but then did at the last moment as OH forgot to thank the staff at our wedding venue !!

I quickly thanked his and my family & friends and thanked everyone for travelling to our venue (lots of my friends in particular travelled long distances).
