When should i hear from band? panicking now

hi girls, so wedding is in 3 weeks, havent heard from my band since i booked them lsat year they sent out receipt etc, i rang one of their mobile numbers last month but he was kinda short on the phone , said he was at a funeral and he'd contact me the week of the wedding.

Just kinda nervous as the band had great reviews on here up until about 2010 and then there was no more!??? is it normal not to hear from them until so soon , im brickin it incase they cancel or something... please give me your experience. xx

I would ring again, you may have caught him at a bad time and if he was at a funeral he might have forgotten or mixed up a number. Don't leave it to chance, ring them again to confirm.

I would ring again. All my suppliers have said they will be in touch the week before the wedding but i think i will be ringing them all myself at your stage so im its not too hectic that last week!!
If you have had no contact with them since you booked them you should definitely give them a call. I wouldnt worry too much though, these people do so many weddings a year they are just so relaxed about everything!!

awh thanks girls, i will get my OH to give him a buzz this time, and like you say they are so used to doing weddings , to them its a job to us, its our world for the few months/ years we are planning it :lvs :lvs thanks for the replys xxx :thnk

my band man emails me every now and then to see how im doing and have i any questions - should i have questions!!!! he said he would ring me for a chat in Sept, my wedding in November! so i would ring your band again OP and be firm as you dont need this stress and get things sorted! best of luck

I agree, they do so many weddings etc...there so relaxed and its us who is stressed etc.. but ring them, I'm sure they won't mind at all!!

I'm the same, I was only in touch with my photographer last week, to pay him some money...and my make-up & hairdresser today...

I was in touch with my band after Christmas just asking do I need to meet with them etc..
