input to suits

so I was just going to let himself go off and pick his suit, whatever he wanted and he could take sample of bridesmaid colour with him. My question is should I go with him when trying on suits or what input did you have to choosing suits.

I had no input. Let the man choose his own suit. It´s his wedding too

Same as I've been told I will have no input. (although he has listened to what colour I would prefer). As above said its his wedding too, he is going to want to look his best, the shop won't let him out looking stupid (as its there rep too) also he had no input in my dress so why should I pick his. He is a big boy now.

I'm going with oh. Think it'll be nice doing it together!No doubt you've styled every aspect of the wedding up to this so why would it be any different??Im not saying go and don't give him a say but I don't see any reason why you couldn't go too and choose one together!

We went together to pick a suit. We ended up going for one that he preferred rather than me as at the end of the day it's his choice - but he wanted my imput and we had a lovely day out together choosing.

We went with his groomsman then to try them on and get fitted.

We went together, he picked out what he liked and I was just there to give a second opinion. He did find it useful to have me there for picking the waistcoat and cravats and what variation the groomsmen and dads were going to wear.

Hi all I went with OH but he decided everything!!! all looks gorgeous!!!! he wanted me along for my input but the stuff was gorg!!! I felt better knowing ive seen it tho!!! would be nervous otherwise!!!!

according to my oh he reckons it traditional for the groom and groomsmen to go on there own now where he head that from i will never know lol,but i want to go with them ourely because he is wearing his army number 1s and we havent a clu what the other groomsmen should wear or what will go with his uniform,any of you brides been to a wedding with a man in uniform what colour did the groomsmen wear
my thinking is its his day also so id rather he had an input also at least he is showing an interest

I thought my OH would say the same but his bestman actually told him to just go with me. He got married a few years ago and said its less hassle if the two of us go and just get it sorted then the lads can just go in and get measured.

Would navy suits go with the uniform?

i would like to go but he is insisting that he goes with the groomsmen so will need to trust him on this one lol,he was groomsmen last yr for his best friend and he was not impressed that the bride 2 be and her mother where there for it lol
must look to see if navy would go, my bridesmaids are in teal and his uniform is green so must see if navy would work i tried to talk him out of the uniform idea but he is having none of it lol

Himself picked out his own, we bought them so he just sent me a link to see if I liked them and I did so it was very easy.

We haven't gone suit shopping yet, but we are gonna go together. H2b knows what he wants and will get what he wants regardless of what I think and rightly so - its his day too, he wants to look his best and wear what he likes and feels good in - not what I want to match into my theme....

oh wanted to pick the suits himself, his reasoning being he didn't have a say in my dress or the bm dresses! which was fair enough.

i went along with him anyway, just for a second opinion. had been secretly hoping he'd go for navy! but he didn't like them & picked something else, which does look great on him and he loves it!

same as that, speaking of variations with the cravats and waistcoats, we are getting suits for my brothers (they are not groomsmen) we were thinking of distinguishing them by having them in ivory ties instead of cravats like the groomsmen? are ye getting suits for other male memebers of immediate family, if so, how are you dressing them?
