Wedding Cake Flavours?

Wedding Cake Flavours?

Postby Scruff1 » Fri Dec 03, 2021 8:22 pm

The cake company we are dealing with have asked us to select our flavours soon! We are going for chocolate icing with cake covered in maltesers and the chocolate swirls around the side! We are having either 3 or 4 tiers.... can anyone suggest the most suiable flavours to go into a chocolate iced cake!? We are definitely having chocolate biscuit cake for one tier but after that we are unsure! Suggestions please?

Hey,

Can they do an orange flavoured cake? That would be fab :)

I've made an orange flavoured cake with chocolate icing and omg! It's so good!

I wonder would lemon go with chocolate? Hmm maybe. Mint and chocolate are good together too

Thanks a mill.....here is my cake:

it's in middle row 10th cake down, only the tiers will be separate so the top of all 3 cakes will be covered in chocolate!

Amazing cakes is a great choice, especially as you are supporting my home town :o0 They did a beautiful cake for my daughter's first birthday. It was a vanilla filling. My firends had their 3 tier wedding cake made their too. It was choc biscuit, lemon and fruit.

Having chocolate icing and maltesers can be a little heavy so you definitley want something light inside to balance so probably the vanilla or orange could work.

Orange sounds amazing and maybe a vanilla sponge for the people who like plainer food?

I totally agree. Just wondering did the cake makers give you any options? Vanilla sounds lovely
