if i was to get my cupcakes made by a family friend would she be able to make them a while before because i know we will be so hectic the day before the wedding? has anyone any experience of this????

They could be frozen un-iced and finished when thawed. Realistically this would probably have to be done day before wedding, you could do it earlier but depending on the type of mix in the cupcakes, some go stale quicker than others. I have eaten 3/4 day old cupcakes, won't kill anyone but much nicer the fresher they are.
