As far as I know it is fattening, you have to go for the one that has 0% fat written on it. And this is very hard to get.

Is greek yoghurt not the same as natural yoghurt? You can find that pretty easily in 0% - if its not the same its definitely similar!

Not sure how fattening it is but it's defintley healthy!
I'd be wary of cutting out things like yoghurt and avocado just cause they're high in fat, saturated fat is the thing you want less of, natural fats found in avocado, nuts and fish are good fats that help you break down the bad ones so maybe just cut down the portion sizes rather than cutting them out.

I saw these differences on the net
1. Greek yogurt has more protein than regular yogurt.
2. Greek yogurt has fewer carbohydrates than regular yogurt.
3. Greek yogurt is a lot creamier and thicker than regular yogurt.
4. Greek yogurt undergoes a triple straining process, whereas regular yogurt only undergoes double straining.
5. Greek yogurt has less sodium than regular yogurt
6. Generally, Greek yogurt has less calcium than regular yogurt.

So I guess a little bit of what you fancy and it being healthy also should be ok :o)ll

Hi miss choc,

I am Greek my self and i have to tell you i 've been eating Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts for all my life and didn't make me fat or at least i think it didn't :yelrotflmaosmilie:

Still have it every night with hubby as my late treat before i go to bed. I like the Glenisk Greek style yogurt but recently i ve discovered that Lidl are doing Greek yogurt in a big tub and at a good price.

Φάγε (Fage) is the best Greek Yogurt and they do a 0% fat option which is really tasty. Superquinn and Tesco stock it.
