Local bakeries near Cavan

We are getting married near Cavan and I'm looking for a place to have a simple cake made for about 250. Everywhere I ask they want like 450.

I know what you mean. Have been looking everywhere for a reasonalbe price and not getting very far. My two options so far are http://frenchweddingcakes.com/ he delivers and sets up the cake for you and has cakes for around 290 + 50 for delivery or so

marks & spencers they said they might be able to order it in for me

Hi there, we are getting married in Cavan and met with Yvonne in McConnans Bakery Carrickmacross last week. Really nice lady and has a great selection and is reasonable.

Hi there,
Top Tier cakes in Cavan are very popular but can be pricey. They're definitely worth a look though.
Also Dinkins Bakery in Monaghan are very reasonable and I think they deliver.
Another possibility would be the Masons Apron in Virginia although I've never seen their wedding cakes, I just know they make them and their regular cakes and breads are yum.
