Our's is a 7 course including dessert and tea/coffee but it's in Italy so it's not so unusual over there..

Starter:

Parma ham and melon
and
Brushchetta( 3 varieties) we might change this yet but because all the guests get both we want to go safe!

First Course :

Risotto pie with meetballs and salami and peas (only a small dish, not as filling as it sounds)
and
Lasagne

Break for speeches...

Main Course:
Grilled Swordfish with king prawns in spicy bredcrumbs and grilled veg
OR
Sorrento Style chicken with rosmary and roast potatoes

Dessert; (buffet)
A selection in including pofitaroles, cheesecake, lemon tart and ice-creams

Cake, lemonchello and tea/coffee to finish

End result: Death by food! :o0

Still a bit nervy on mine, due to fact that it's in spain and they have differing tastes, but it goes like this...

Foie Gras
Hake canneloni
kiwi and mint sorbet
Jaw of veal (sounds disgusting but omg! it's amazing!)
Traditional spanish desert

reading this back it sounds a bit mental :o0

I love it because it sounds a bit mental!
I love food, every kind so I love to see something a little different on a menu
Saying that, I did spit out fois gras once in France in a restaurant, only food I've ever spat out in my life! :-8 But I had it in pate form since and it was quite nice, not as strong

Thank you :thnk People were nervous about the soup when we told them and the hotel even did a pot of veg (for free) incase it didn't go down well as they never had done it before but once people tried it they loved it. I have an aunt who still raves about it. Must admit the dessert was yummy.
