It's the center that fell out of a brooch I got in Pennys when I dropped it on a hard floor :-8

It's just resting there for the photo so I'll have to get something I can stick or pin on for the real cake. I might actually just buy another cheap brooch in Dunnes or Pennys but Deco Bake sell proper cake brooches too. It's a super shop!

It's all chocolate biscuit cake- there's no need for dowels with that type of cake so you simply place them on top of each other and they're nice and sturdy.

I figured the ingredients for the 6 inch cake cost €7 and you'd need 3 times that for the 8 inch cake and maybe 5 times that for the 10 inch cake so in total I reckon (1*7)+(3*7)+(5*7)= €63. Add maybe €6 for the white chocolate ganache and I plan to buy the 5kg box of ready to roll icing in Decobake for €18. Maybe another €10 on ribbons and decorations so I would say max €100 for everything.

BTW I'm actually making them in saucepans- I have a few with a good shape on them and you can make nice deep/thick cakes. I was finding it hard to find deep cake tins and wasn't really that keen to splash out on them. So don't worry if you don't have great tins- open up your saucepan press and use your imagination!
