Dear fellow brides, I am getting married at Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee at the end of May. We have decided on a food and wine package for the reception which is EUR78 pp, which is not cheap in this market! Unfortunately when we tasted the wines suggested, we didnt like them...not ideal! BUT the hotel are currently having issues about us brining in our own wines (approx. EUR15 a bottle - good quality Sancerre or the likes) even though we are willing to pay him market rate for corkage, which i believe to be approx. EUR10 a bottle. Has anyone had this problem at Ballygarry? What do you advise?

iv heard alot of people have bother with that hotel,they dont budge on price

Is it that they won't let you bring your own at all?
If so, tell them they need to find a wine that you like then, you're not prepared to go with the ones suggested.
