Ah great, thanks so much for all the positive feedback, it really put the mind at ease and sorted out another decision! Things are starting to come together slowly but surely!!

It sounds lovely and its making me hungry now!
I don't think there is any need to have the choice on the starter or soup. For our wedding we just had a choice on the main course and the dessert (because we couldn't agree on desserts and the hotel does the best deserts I've ever tasted at a wedding)
If you can don't tell too many people about your choices as no matter what you pick they'll have a comment on it and try to change you mind on things, just stick with what you feel like having.

Sounds a great menu:) We are not giving options on anything other than the main either and the medley of deserts was a must for me:)

I think this menu sounds fab. If someone doesnt like the duck starter there will probably be a veg option so I wouldnt worry about it.
If not as the other posters say they wont go hungry as you have catered for them in the crowd pleasing soup!!!!
