We are supllying our own wine for the big day.can anyone recommend a nice white and red wine to compliment beef ?

We got a new zealand called "The Ned" sauv blanc, it was fab. I 4get the red but i'll find out if u like. We had beef or sea bass as our mains...Curious wines delivered ours for us to our hotel as well. They have a web-site..

I also have same problem trying to get nice white and red wine to go with beef and salmon. If any one has any recommendations be much appreciated. Hoping to spend 5 euro a bottle max if possible.!! x

For red: calietierra reserve syrah €5 on offer in tesco

For White: mount gras sav blanc, think it's €6 but well worth it.

Tesco have a wine fair on at the moment, great bargains. The ones above are what H2B recommends (wise is what he does for a living :hic ). Hope that helps you :wv

Hi there i've come across a really nice wine and its on special offer 2 for £5.00. The only thing is its only 8% alco vol most wines are 11-12%. Do you think it is too light a wine at only 8% vol??? The name of wine is silver bay point. x

Low % wines are becoming more popular, take someone who's maybe driving and only wants a glass or 2, it tastes exactly the same so chances are no one will even notice unless they study the bottle. Go for it!!
