Help with choice of vegetables.

I know which sounds like an odd topic but i'm at a loss.
Our Hotel told us we have two vege and roast potato and mash potato.
What Veg???
I was thinking carrot and parsnip puree and brocolli but hotel thinks the puree with look bad. (heap of orange puree)
I'm trying to think of other suggestions and don't know.

What are ye having?

I think we're having carrots and broccoli? I wouldn't puree the carrots though! With mash potato aswel you don't want too much mushy stuff on the plate!! Seems like an odd question for your hotel to ask :o0

What meat/fish are you having?

I wouldn't be mad about the puree either, especially with mash, just normal carrots would be better.

I love that puree stuff, but agree with the hotel that it will look bad on the plate.

Is it possible for them to do up a mixed veg thing? brocoli, carrots, cauliflower etc.

Love roasted veg like carrots, parsnip etc. bit of roasted pepper is nice too. Maybe the hotel want to stick to boiled?
