What do people think of this menu,

Hi im wondering what people think of this menu please;
Starters:
Classic Caesar salad - smkled bacon, herb crotons, parmesan shavings, caesar dressing with chicken
Chicken and Mushrooms in a Bouchee Shell - with a chardonnay cream sauce

Soup - Country style Vegtable Soup

Mains - Pepper Crusted Sirloin Of irish Beef - with pancetta and chive mash, yorkshire pudding and merlot sauce
Grilled supreme of irish salmon duchess - topped with baby spinach leaves, duchess potatoes on a fresh dill Beure Blanc(Whatever that is!!!!)
all served with veg and creamed potatoes and herb and garlic potato cakes.

What ye Women think of that menu please>

Very nice...wouldn't mind that now.

A buerre blanc is a fancy word for a butter sauce.

Just as an FYI, the last few weddings I have been at they haven't had any soup and to be honest no one noticed at all....

Thanks for getting back to me i was getting hungary myself typing it out!!, it comes part of our package a choice of 6 soups but alot of the them were wierd soups so we stuck with what we know!"
Nice to know what " buerre blanc" means, cheers..

Thanks girls the dessert we are having is a trio of desserts on a plate ( 1 cold, 1 hot, and I'm not sure what the 3rd is I must find out I think it's a fruity desert ( the fiancé said he thinks baked Alaska, hot chocolate fudge cake and he wasn't sure the last one he can't remember as he works in the hotel we getting married and wasn't paying full attention!!! They called it an " assiette of deserts"

I do not like sorbets at all they do be to cold!! I think people prefer soup ESP the older folks but that just my opinion!!
