BBQ Wedding in the Midlands

Can anyone recommend some place for a BBQ wedding for 150-200 people in Athlone or the surrounding areas. We want a reception which is very laid back. All the hotels in Athlone offer the traditional receptions but no other choices of wedding reception.

I organised an anniversary party for my parents and got a pig on a spit. WE had salads etc to go with it and it fed about 140 people with leftovers. It went down a treat, some people saying that it was some of the nicest meat they had ever eaten... This might be something you want to incorporate into your BBQ. Let me know of you want the details.

Don't have any suggestions for a venue, but I was at a wedding in England a few years ago and they had their recieption in a marquee with a bbq and it was fab. The bbq was setup in an adjoining smaller marquee with all the usual bbq trimmings. It was the only wedding like that I'd every been at and thought it was just great.
