The toast - champagne or cava?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a cheap good champagne or nice cava for the toast?!

Tesco finest have a nice prosecco and there was another in super valu for 6.99... I find champagne too dry So I go for prosecco.

+1 for prosecco, delish!!! Aldi have nice one too at the mo €9.99, but TBh any prosecco you can get is generally v good, so shop around, I'm not a fan of shampers, even the real exp ones....just can't take to them at all!!!

I too am having a champers / cava dilemma. I would like to serve a nice champers, but not everyone likes it so it will be a waste on those who don't so a nice prosecco or cava might be better. H2B thinks we should go with the €7.50 a head toast option so that everyone can have what they like, but I think that's too pricey!

I would go with Prosecco, its hard to get a bad one and you can get very good value in Tesco, Dunnes and Lidl.
