Menu tasting 2012?? what to choose?

Menu tasting 2012?? what to choose?

Postby orlacurran7 » Fri Jan 27, 2022 2:41 pm

Hi
We are starting to look at menu choices now and just wondering if there is any advice on what food to have for the main course? We are thinking lamb or seabass but is that too restrictive for guests? Should we have beef??!
Any thoughts please? :hyper:

We had thought about lamb for ours. I'm not a lamb eater so asked those who were what they thought and they were against it. The reason they gave was that lamb is harder to get right especially for large numbers, and someone also pointed out that the smell of lamb lingers and it would be horrible to have the room smelling all evening (this came from my mum who used to waitress for weddings).

I had rack of lamb at a friends wedding a few years ago. its was cooked perfectly and without doubt my most favourite wedding meal ever, never noticed smell but dancing was in different room.
my 2nd fave was monkfish last year - also 1st time ever to have it!!
