Cake Maker West Cork

Any recommendations for cake maker in Clonakilty area. Tempted to make it myself but i'm a bit nervous things will go wrong. Want a reaonable price as it's not a huge priority for us, just something plain and simple!

Best place for cheap and simple is a local bakery as they have the advantage of bulk buying. I could give you names of cake makers but they would be more in the custom made/more elaborate type cake area. You might find someone locally that does it from home and is cheap, make sure and check that they are HSE registered and insured though as some hotels will not accept food in that is not from a registered kitchen. If you decide to make it yourself check same with hotel.

I've just pm'd you the name and number of the woman who made my wedding cake. My wedding was at the Celtic Ross if that helps - they had no issue and were familiar with her as a cake maker and I am sure the other hotels locally would be as well. I LOVED my cake! I've tried to upload a picture but WOL won't let me!!
