Wedding Wine How Many Bottles??? Please Help

We are about to purchase wine for our wedding for 250 guests (25 tables of 10). We are unsure how much white wine, red wine and rose wine to purchase can anyone advise? I know people usually say about 1/2 bottle per person but we want to make sure there is plenty of it flowing for people, but unsure about the total numbers to get of each.

Do you need Rose as an option? We just went 55% white and 45% red, and we just went with the standard half bottle per person. We bought our own wine and just gave them full cases so the 45% may have been x cases and 7 bottles but we gave the case of 12 if you know what I mean. I think generally people tend to drink more white, we had a beef dish so had a bit more red. (60% - 40% would work)

I would normally drink rosΓ© wine but I never get it with my meal at a wedding. I drink white instead. We had Turkey and Ham, Beef or Salmon as our main courses and we were told it should be 60% white and 40% red wines. We had 300 for our meal so we had 96 bottles of white and 42 of red. We had loads of red left over and only a few bottles of white. Hope this helps.
