Gorgeous pics, i love your dress and headpiece and the snow makes the whole thing look magical.

it sounds like you had a beautiful ceremony. can i ask you what readings you had & what you did for the candel ceremony. We are having a civil ceremony in our venue and having never been to one im a bit stumped on ideas.

o ya we are having "make you feel my love" too as our first dance!

Thanks Grazia!

We had three readings
An excerpt from 'Song from an open road' by Walt Whitman
'A lovely love story' by Edward Monkton (so sweet)
'Blessing for a marriage' by James Dillet Freeman (read by three friends)

The candle ceremony was similar to the Catholic one, except that initially the two individual candles were lit by our two mothers to represent the two families we have come from, then later on we lit the middle one to represent the new family we had created.

Bluebear Magda really is so lovely, and SO talented. Just remember that if there are specific formal shots you want, you'll have to tell her specifically (even if you think it might be obvious!) because she does focus on the natural shots, which she is FABULOUS at!! But we gave her a list in advance and she got all of them. Only after this thread did I realise I didn't ask for a full length shot of me, so I don't know if she would have got one (haven't seen all the photos yet). I don't mind about that at all, but my mum wanted to show all her friends the dress!!
