Friday BBQ:
We arrived to the amazing atmosphere of the castle, candles lighting and people there to wait on us hand and foot. The BBQ was AMAZING, something my guests still talk about. We had a whole pig, sausages, burgers, steak and many other wonderful twit bits. The quality of the food was AMAZING and we had a lovely little tavern style section in the Dungeon bar, candle lit and full of old world atmosphere. We all sat and ate and chatted and went in and out for seconds and thirds as we pleased. The band started at 9pm and the atmosphere in the castle was electric. The musicians were amazing that the castle provided, what a treat for my guests. Some people had an early night while others burned the midnight oil. The whole Castle felt like my very own, amazing house party. The accommodation was next to none, all rooms decorated in there own different way.
Sat Morning:
I woke up to the most amazing breakfast, all of my guests who stayed over wandered the halls and mingled as more people arrived. I had Prosecco to the bridal suite where myself, my Mother and my bridesmaids got ready. It was bliss.
My hairdresser Joanne Kelly - [email protected] and make up artist Kate Synnott - [email protected] arrived and the real fun started. These ladies were relentless in their task to make us all look AMAZING. The were professional, friendly and a pleasure to have in the room, I love them both.
My Florist Dermot - [email protected] arrived with the flowers which were beyond perfect, he took my vision and made it into a reality, AMAZING flowers.
Ceremony:
We didnt get the weather we had hoped for, so our courtyard wedding was a non runner. However I have to say I have no regrets. The Banquet hall was the setting for my ceremony and it was so perfect that I cold not have hoped for anything more. The staff had it set up like a dream, candles, ivy, chairs with bows...amazing.
Dara Molloy - http://www.daramolloy.com what can I say about Dara. Dara performed our ceremony and let me tell you people the man is one of the nicest, friendliest, most engaging men I have ever met. He made the Ceremony the best part of the whole day, people are still speaking about it. He involved all of my guests and made myself and My husband feel so special and blessed. Truly amazing.
Gary Reddy - http://www.garyreddymusic.com/home.html and Linda McGovern - 0857751686 were my amazing wedding singers, there was not a dry eye in the whole place as they each belted out my chosen songs. They set a romantic atmosphere next to none.
Band - Tropical Storm, what can I say about these guy's, they were so good, living jukeboxes, all three of them. They really had my drinks reception hoping.
Sound - Alphasounds.com - Thor was the best sound engineer ever. Very good price and just couldnt do enough for us on the day.
DJ - http://www.digitaldjs.ie - Steve was so professional, friendly and played THE BEST music. We pretty much gave him free reign and the jist of our taste and he was perfect. My dancefloor was never empty.
Photographer - We Are The Mastersons - Brian was a joy to have around on the day, he was friendly, professional and the pictures are beyond perfect. I cannot recommend the Mastersons enough.
Kinnitty Castle - I cannot recommend this venue enough. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The canape's were so good and the Prosecco was flowing. They had the room turned around from ceremony to reception so quickly and perfectly. The staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered and Rachel and Kate are so helpful and attentive. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS VENUE ENOUGH FOR VALUE FOR MONEY.
