I've been threatening to do this now for few weeks, so just decided to get finger out and do it.
Monday
I left H2B monday night to head home and spend few days relaxing and getting final things sorted for the couple of days before wedding, was weird leaving, still really hadn't hit me that it was actually OUR wedding day in few days.
Tuesday
Went into town with my sis to get few last minute things done, balloons for signpost at church, get clocks engraved for the Mammys etc,and we got our spray tans done, i got white to brown, in Luarenas Beauty Salon in KK, I had a trial and was really happy with it. So tan turned out perfect, PHEW!! My other sis arrived home that evening and we just chilled and chatted for the eve, nice and relaxed.
Wednesday(Day B4 wedding)
We (mam,and 2 sis's) went into KK to get our nails done and buy BMs bracelets and earrings, i know last minute eh? anyway while going to get nils done I bought a pregnancy test, just to rule it out more than anything and to know to pack tampax, so i popped into toilet in beauticians just b4 getting nails done and result...POSITIVE, test read pregnant 3+.
HOLY SHIT, couldn't believe it, so out of toilet was eyeballing my sis, ya know trying to tell her I'M PREGNANT, but she thought I was thick cause I wanted her technician or somethin.
So when the 2 technicians went to do somethin I told her, she was over the moon...I was in shock I think, didn't sink in at all.
Anyway had to ring himself, he was travelling to church just for a look and then dropping cake to hotel. SO I suggested we meet up and he was like no we can't, and I was like I think we should!!! Well he guessed, shocked/delighted the works, so met him later for little kiss and cuddle, couldn't really talk about it cause my Dad and his Brither were there.
My 3rd BM arrived home that night and I told her, talk about busy few days!!!
WEDDING DAY
[Went to bed at about 11.30pm night b4 and actually slept really well, woke around 8 and got up at 8.30, so great nights sleep. showered, tan looked good and off we headed to hairdressers for hair and makeup.
Was so happy wiht how all out hair and makeup turned out, I had my hair done by Ann in Kieran O'Gormans and makeup by Yvonne Maher...genious,seriously!!
So homeward bound we were,honestly so calm.
Dad had breakfast sorted so had yummy saus/rasher sambo.
Photographer/flowers etc arrived and we got the show on the road. I had a few shaky moments where the eyes welled up ya know when ya see your parents/family/BMS all done up was emotional.
On we went to the church, my uncle did the driving, so so glad didn't spend money on a car and I managed to be 35mins late, i really don't know how that happened.
Walked up the aisle,to Nella Fantasia, we had maria fitrgerald of the wedding singer and a violinist and piano, really worth every penny...kept it together and then really really enjoyed the service, our rev was fantastic.
After service did all the photos and then just a little photo session with just me and my now HUBBY and really enjoyed this part of the day, it was really the only part of the day where it was just us, our photographer was patricia fitzpatrick of insight photography, she reall yis gifted at her job and we loved getting out photos done.
Then back to Hotel,food was actaully unbelieveable it surpassed all of my expectations,everyone was commenting on it. After dinner and sppeches our photographer put on little slideshow which all the guests really enjoyed and it was bit emotional looking at it.
Then we had our first dance, feels like home and then we danced the night away.
