Absolutely fantastic thread ladies, so much practical useful advice that i hadnt heard before. Im ever so slightly freaking out now that im not organised but have himself under orders from this evening that things need to get done. 31 weeks so i think pack a bag is number 1 :eek thanks.

I hope I'm not repeating any of the previous tips but on ds2 I did a couple of things differently that made my life a bit easier.

I exclusively bottle fed so bought 10 bottles so I always had 6 bottles ready to go into the steriliser. I also wash them in the dishwasher in a really handy tray made by OXO in tony kealys. Another tip don't bother buying the small bottles as they move up to 5 oz in no time so they're a waste of money.

Have somewhere comfortable to change the baby downstairs so you're not hunching over, I was killed with my back and have all your supplies close so you don't have to run up and down the stairs. I also kept a basket beside the bed with nappies etc so I didnt have to go into the nursery in the middle of the night while baby was in our room.

And definitely take everything everyone says with a pinch of salt. With ds1 id get upset with interfering sil always passing remarks but just laugh it off now. You know your baby best :)
