sweep at limerick maternity

hi girls,
i'm just wondering if anyone has had a sweep done at limerick mat?. i'm in next monday for my 39 wk check and i'd like to ask for a sweep to get things moving. if anyone has any experience from this hospital that'd be grt.

Hiya, they'll do one no problem I'd say. I had one done at 38 weeks as I'd high bp & they wanted to see if they could get things moving. Think I'd another one at 39 wks before they induced me. Dr. Katie is supposed to be great at them. I know 2 girls who she did a sweep for & they had their babies that night!!

Hi i had one done at 38 weeks. It was very thorough one. I was given an induction date for 39 +2. due to gest diabetes but went into labour myself that morning so sweep didnt work for me as it was a week later i went into labour. If your examined and not favourable they wont do the sweep
