Coming off Prednisolone, Cyclogest, Clexane; side effects?

Hi,

I am weaning off Prednisolone & Cyclogest and took my last Clexane injection last week. I am positive for anti-nuclear antibodies and was told to come off everything at 12 weeks.

I am so scared and feel like the drugs are a crutch to the pregnancy. I would some reassurance from anyone that has weaned off all the drugs and if they got any side effects from coming off everything?

hey lizzie delighted to hear ur great news hun :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll :o)ll x x x the only one i was on was cyclogest which i came off too at about 11 weeks ..was terrified too felt same as u that it was what was holding onto my pregnancy but clinic reassured me that it was safe enough, things were well established by then ...didnt have any side effects ..just load of knicker watching lol and im 34 weeks now x x x x hth hun i know u be ssoooooo nervous x x x x

oh believe me girl u be 34 weeks before u know it ..it just flies by ...well maybe not the early days with ms lol ..i know cant believe ill have a baby def by 8 weeks hahaha ..enjoyit all girl ..u waited long enough for it ..have ya had a scan x x

Yep, we had early scan in Sims at 7+4 and then our 12 week scan which was just amazing! After 2.5 years ttc and two miscarriages it was lovely to have a scan where we walked out smiling with a picture in our hands. Still unreal (although my expanding waistline is my living proof). Not sure if it is the steroids and the meds but am very bloated and have had to start leaving my top button open and use the belly bands.
