We're both having Quiche for lunch today, they're doing two quiches for €4.50 in Marks at the moment and they're really nice. We've often taken leftover pasta with chicken, or a small piece of lasagne. H2B has just moved premises and he's no microwave so he can only take stuff thats nice cold. I love cajun chicken wraps, have to buy the massive tub in the cash & carry as can't find any other sauce that I like.

God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece

I tend to make H2Bs lunch 2 weeks out of 3, as he is a shift worker. He does more cooking/cleaning than I do, so I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. The lads at work have slagged him in the past as I put cucumber and tomato in when I make them.

He also takes 2 (chilled) penguin bars

Hi

I am the opposite - H2B makes mine for me - this is only because I can never get out of the bed and he is up before me.

Same as that!

It think there should be another option put on the poll!!

Haha, you must be joking  . He’s a grown man, he can make his own lunch  !! I think that even if I did make it, he’d complain that I cut it the wrong way, or there’s too much / not enough butter, etc

The kitchen is hubby’s area anyway, I have not cooked once since we moved in together  . I’m not completely lazy though, I do all the washing and ironing, and the “heavy” cleaning.

Yeah, I do make his lunch but mainly because he wouldn't bother and then would probably get rubbish for lunch. He loves having the lunch in with him. Then again he is very good with doing stufff so it is not a bother to me.

Haha he makes mine too, not every day - depends if we actually have food in the house! He always sets the table for my brekkie and even puts the teabag in a mug beside the kettle :D

Yes I most definately make Hubbys lunch the poor pet gets up for work at 5am 6 mornings a week (joys of bing self-employed!) and has a 50 mile drive to work and 50 mile drive home in the evening and also if he was to make his own lunch (he sometimes does  ) it takes me half an hour to clean up after him !

Also I leave his mug beside the kettle with a teabag and spoon in it and just enough water in kettle for his tea  - but I know he appreciates it !
Hopefully in a few months when our new house if finished he will only have to be getting up at half six !

We are both in a position to come home at lunch time, however h2b does not make it home very often as he is a lot more busy at work than me. My lunch is 12:30 - 14:00, his is 13:00 - 14:00 so if he comes home i will cook some extra for him also. Most days he sorts himself out.

I do make h2b's lunch. 2 reasons why.
1. I always made my daddy's when I lived at home the night before and put into fridge. So I started without even noticing.
2. The food in the bronx where we work is crap.........I mean dung and I woudlnt give it to a dog.
I also make my own so its only a matter of making 4 more slices of bread.
For sambo's today- home made potato salad, virginia ham and mayo.
YUM YUM YUM., Apple and for h2b as its his birthday today, he got a lovely slice of choc cheesecake from my local irish deli.
