Carla remind me to invite you all to my house cause tee heee heee... <don't tell anyone> but I never change the sheets between visitors. ssshhhhh now don't let anyone know...

The washing powder is really expensive so I'm trying to cut back and also its more environmentally friendly to only wash sheets every 6 - 8 months.

Think I am to blame for starting this money thing, I was just really really curious because there is so much on this site about the price of weddings, houses, babies etc and nobody seemed to be struggling(like us!) so I just thought it would be interesting!!
Looks like myself and H2B are on the lower end of all the earners here but hey we're happy, will be living in the country with a great quality of life and lower cost of living!!!!! So we are told anyway!!!! :wink:
So sorry if your not interested, but please have you never wondered how you're doing in the financial stakes?!

I just use my own friends as a benchmark and we are all pretty much in the same boat some better than others but most of us in the same situation. To be honest I doubt anyone here will give you the really true picture of how things are... its human nature to boast rather than put yourself down so don't use this post as a way to get an idea about how tough things are... believe me I'd say you are not alone in finding it tough -I don't know how people do it!

As long as you feel secure and are not overly worried about financial matters I think you're doing fine. There's always going to be people with a lot more and of course, a lot less. I know people who give each other cars as presents and people who've chosen to live on one salary for a while in order for one parent to be at home with their children and who find it a bit of a struggle at times.
