Under eye concealer

Under eye concealer

Postby CarolinaMoon » Thu Apr 26, 2022 1:09 pm

Ok so I have these hollows under my eyes and always have - tis hereditary (thanks dad for that btw) but lately they seem to have darkened and sometimes almost look bruised so its time for some heavy duty concealer or something.

Any suggestions?

I find Touche Eclat works for dark circles. I get puffiness even if I gets lots of sleep, drink lots of water and sleep with two pillows so I guess mine is hereditary aswell. Have tried lots of lotions and potions but nothing seems to work. I would love to find a solution before the wedding but think it is unlikely! At least you can hopefully cover yours! Are you having a trial? Maybe your MUA can suggest something if you get stuck for one that works!

I had the trial there the other week and whatever she did looked amazing! She has suggested sticking a couple of teaspoons in the freezer the morning of the wedding as well :o0 I might have a lookie loo at Touche Eclat. I have heard it was good. Thank you!

I like the benefit products for this. There is one called lemon aid that evens skin tone, its great under foundation, if you still feel you need concealer I use their Erase Paste or Boing over it usually does a great job at covering dark circles for me. I think they give better coverage than the touche eclat.

touche eclat is very good but very expensive, they have the same concealer pen in aldi for 4.49 and it does the same job as touche eclat, I used TE for years as got in at discount in the airport, thenswitched to aldi 2 years ago and it does the same job for a fifth of the price! x

Was a Touche Eclat devotee for years but my dark circles are too much for it's delicate powers of late. Recently started using Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer and it's AMAZING, you'd never know that I look like an insomniac heroin addict underneath it all.

There's 2 products you can get from Bobbi Brown to use together and they're really effective. First is correcter, it's heavier and darker and it really takes away that purple look under the eyes and then use their concealer on top. It's lighter and creamier and just gives a really nice finish. Would definitely recommend them.

Is this one really good as I was thinking of ordering it. I have tried so many and they just seem to cakey or else they dont work Not a fan of Touche Eclat or any of the benefit products. I tried the creme de la Mer recently and found that too cakey also. Would be interested to know is there any other feedback on the product above.
