Can anyone recommend one for the 19th of July for 4 nights.

Somewhere near enough to London Zoo or attractions?

I've stayed in these:
Thistle Marble Arch
Grange holborn
Ibis (euston)

The first two were really nice. The Ibis is grand, cheap, but clean.

All central, all beside tube stations. Once you are near a tube station you can get anywhere very quickly.

Depends on your budget really, if its cheap and cheerful your after, try travelodge convent garden. Perfect for a place to sleep if you'll be out sightseeing all the time. As an op mentioned any hotel is central once its close to a tube stop, we went a few months back and stayed in Waterloo. Right beside the tube so we were fine. If going again we would stay in convent garden area just to be closer to nightlife etc..

Budget isn't a huge deal - not 5 star though! :o0 :o0
