Into a crazy person. FACT! I am being comsumed by “the wedding”. I literally cannot think about anything else. I never thought I would be like this at all. Am awake at night doing up mental lists, I said in a different thread earlier I need a list to keep track of all my lists!
I am bored in work, trying to think up some fun topic to start but my brain is not working for anything that is non-wedding related!!!!!!!!!!!

So just to say I am sorry WOL, I will soon be neglecting you for at least 4 months and am useless for my last while here!

Monrningsun I think we are wedding twins!! I have been sooooo laid-back about the wedding, literally until this weekend. I realised I was under the three-week mark and just sort of flipped out a bit.

I have nothing to actually worry about, most stuff is done and what is left is tiny. But this weekend it's like a siren went off

It's not helping that OH is in China for two weeks, I won't see him until Friday night (we're getting legally married on Saturday morning, Air France had better not go on strike aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!)

Also, we're having fairly chilled out, no-frills wedding, but a family friend got married at the weekend and my mother keeps going on about the favours and 40 million other "personal touches" that OH and I (for reasons both of financial limitation and just-not-botheredness) are not having and I'm suddenly nervous it's going to seem like a really cold Ryanair wedding.

I mean I know it WON'T, but still...

Anyway, I hear ya!

Hi Ladies. I am only recently using the site. I only booked my wedding a few weeks ago. So forgive me for any errors I may make. I just wanted to say to both Morning Sun and Cabbage Head. I am sure your weddings will be absolutely glorious. I think the best weddings are always the weddings that have a bit of the bride and groom in them. I know its all good and well to have doves and ice sculptors but it can be just as nice to have a plain and simple wedding. I was at two weddings last year back to back one was a very ritzy affair and the other a budget wedding. Both weddings were absolutely wonderful. Just enjoy your day and your husband and everything will turn out perfectly. Wishing you all the best. Ammygirl. x O-O

cabbagehead, I'm sure your day will be fabulous. to me what makes a wedding is the happiness that you see in a couple. that and their family and friends being there with them (at the risk of being totally cliché) 'spreading the love'.

OOOOHHH so excited for you two, best of luck with the run up to it, you can never take time back so make the most of it oh and enjoy the honeymoons ;)

I really am acting crazy though :o0

got a good few things done this evening so feeling a little more relaxed now (well kinda)

ETA watching new series of Big Bang Theory where it is 2 weeks before Howard & Bernadette's wedding - she is acting crazy too so maybe it's completely normal :innocent:
