Frozen Wine

I have some leftover wine from last week (I wasn't well!!) that I poured into a bag and put in the freezer for cooking purposes. Now husband is going out tomorrow night and I fancy a glass or two of wine but have none in, won't get a chance to go and get any tomorrow, apart from the local shop who sell absolute sh!te wine and charge well over the odds. So I'm thinking, do you think I could defrost my wine and drink it tomorrow night? Or would that just be weird and downright wrong? Clearly I'm desperate.

I would def chance it. Fair play to u, so much wine gets trown out in this house!

Sorry but it doesn't taste great once you've defrozed it :o( I put a bottle of wine in the freezer (trying to chill it quick) and forgot about it and it went to slush but the taste wasn't great at all had to dump it in the end.

Spot on, it tasted quite vile. Chucked it away. What a shockingly terrible waste of wine. I've had to have a G&T to placate myself.
