Home hair dye...would you dye your hair if...

Your hair was natural blonde?
I've natural blond hair thats gone really dull over the last couple of years.
My sister put some low lights inti it a few months ago and now I have roots...but duller blond roots iykwim.
I was thinking of just throwing a hair dye into it to brighten up entirely but not sure if its a good idea or not.
Its really dull so would love to have it brighter but then its no longer natural if i;m making any sort of sense :innocent:

What ye think?

My hair is naturally blonde too. Any time i've done a home hair deal on my hair i've regretted it. Home dying hair blonde is much harder to get right than with darker colours. But maybe try a semi permanent dye that will last for a while but isn't permanent in case it's not fantastic.

What i do is go twice a year and get highlights at the hairdressers. The colour i get is very like my own colour but brightens it up and it grows out great as the colours are so alike. So it costs me stupid money twice a year but it's only twice a year...

I used to love with a natural blonde who used glints hair colour. Her hair looked fine.

Oh please don't , every time I've done this I've regretted it.

I can usually tell a home dye job on blondes, the colour is just not right. Now, not all but most. The hue of yellow or orange just gives it away. For me anyway I look back at all the different home dyes I have used and look at the photos and shudder.

I have been every colour under the sun. I think if it were me I would get a low and a highlight into your hair and it looks so natural and you don't notice the roots as bad, especially being naturally blonde.
