Emergency passport... urgent please help!

Girls,

My DH is due to fly out with work on Saturday, very important trip. He submitted his passport last monday (always leaves things til the last O:| ) But he justtracked it online and it was rejected. His photos were well dodge, a bit blurry but he thought "feck it".

Doe anyone know the story about emergency passports, can you go into passport office and wait??

Any info greatly appreciated :wv

Yeah I think you can go in and wait but tell him to bring proof of the date he's flying such as the booking reference or his ticket or whatever cos they'll look for that. A girl came into the chemist I work in on Friday saying her passport had been rejected at the airport for out of date and she had an hour to get new pics and get back into the passport office and on to the airport!! They can definitely fast track them for you of the need arises. Hope he gets on ok.

This happended to me - my photos got smudged with some ink (while in the passport office!), they rang me and told me to send in another set of photos - I did it the same day and the passport was still turned around very quickly. I would get him to go to the office with another set of photos ASAP.
