What to do in the rain?

What to do in the rain?

Postby drummerswife2b » Mon May 07, 2022 5:59 am

Ugh I'm so annoyed. Sat and Sunday were lovely days and we were too hungover and just chilled out. We had planned to go to the zoo today (my favourite place and it takes a lot for h2b to agree to go with me) but of course it's miserable.

The options are stay at home clean the house and make invites. Go to Blanche to the Isense cinema screen (really want to Do this but It means watching the avengers for a 2nd time which I'm not that bothered about) or sonething else wonderful that you ladies can suggest.

We're in Louth but can travel.

Just typical isn't it. It was lovely all weekend.

Don't need anything in the shops :o( as much as I love shopping can't justify it until I lose more weight.

What did you do in the end? Weather stayed nice here in Cork for once so was able to get out and work on the garden. Hope it lasts and starts getting warmer.

In the end we went back to bed until 12. Got up cleaned the house a little (not the in depth we had planned but just spruced it up). Went for a drive and the heavens just kept opening so we went to swords cinema seen American Pie reunion in the VIP screen, went home to make a dent on the invites, realised to much folding cutting work to do ourselves so bringing them to Daintree next week. Watched American pie 1 to feel young again and went to bed.

So although not very exciting I felt good as we got the house clean and sorted out what needs doing on the invites as well as having a little fun.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
