Accessorise dress

Bought this dress for my sisters wedding and need help with what to put with it. I have looked in loads of shops and nothing jumping out. Think at this stage I'm so addled with what I want that can't think anymore!!

The dress is a lighter colour slightly than it looks in the picture.

No suggestions, but it's a FAB dress, do you mind me asking where you got it from? Have a wedding coming up and am looking for a new dress!!

It's a gorgeous dress, so fab! Immediate reaction would be to put gold with it, but it looks like the embellishments on the front are pearl/silver? So would you stick with those colours?
I might not go for a necklace though because of the embellishments on the front are so close to the neckline.
Hair up or down?

Was going to have my hair down as want to wear something in it. Don't really want to go with silver as not mad on silver accessories. Was thinking of nude shoes, maybe peep toe ones. Won't wear a necklace but was going to wear nice earrings.
What can I put in my hair.

You could get a lovely fascinator or flower in a similar purple to the dress that'd be fab with some curls.
Nude shoes would go lovely, maybe some purple or pearl earrings as well? Doesn't have to be exact same purple as it won't be up against the dress. And a nude handbag?
What about a wrap/coat?

I would wear silver and white with that dress.
I think there's enough going on there so keep your accessories fairly simple.

A blingy hairband/slide in your hair to match the embellishment in the dress rather than a fascinator.
Very simple silver stud earrings, silver shoes and a white cardi/shawl.

I think flowers and feathery fascinators are a bit blasé?
Fascinators are a bit more structured now.

Think I'll go with a wrap rather than a coat as hopefully it'll be a nice day!! Wishful thinking in this country. Am going to go down town tomorrow and look for a fasinator or band. Getting my hair blowdried for a wedding in 2 weeks time as well so might see can they do loose curls in it. Hopefully its long enough.

i'd definitely go with silver sparkly sandals and a silver bag & jewellery with this - either statement earrings & a bracelet, or a more delicate necklace/earring set. you could go with pale pink for the wrap, maybe?
have you had a look at the debenhams website - lots of stuff on there that looks suitable!

I'd say no necklace, sparkly earrings (stud or dangly- whatever you prefer) and a silver hair clip thing maybe to the side or on a thin silver hairband.

Also I think silver or nude shoes or sandals. Wouldn't worry too much about them as it's a long dress.

I wouldn't have thought gold at all since the embellishment is silvery.

Silver sparkly / diamonte jewellery if that's what the embellishments on the front of the dress are.

Neat earrings & neck piece if hair down. Maybe drop earrings and no neck piece if hair up.

I'd just stick with silver all the way for sandals and bag rather than trying to bring in another colour.

All shopped out! Got a headpiece with the different shades in the dress. Tried on loads and this matched dress perfectly. Am hiring it for day so perfect. Bought nude shoes, purple bag and purple wrap. Earrings are diamanté with purple at end. All comes together well. Walked around town today with dress.

Had reply typed and it disappeared! Heres photos of what I got today. Love the shoes - they are padded so more comfy than they look. Although doubt I'll be saying that after wearing them for a few hours!
