Just wondering has anyone had sessions in reiki? I have been interested in it for awhile but just wasn't sure about it. H2b's uncle would do it but he is a bit of a fruit loop. The other night I was out with h2b's friends and was talking to one of the girlfriends (a very normal and lovely girl) she mentioned she did reiki and that was that. Later on after many many drinks back at a house party she touched me (not in that way :o0 ) just a hand on my leg during conversation. She pulled me aside later and asked me two questions both of which were true for me. She said she felt it in me. It really amazed me as she wouldn't have known about it. It all felt very weird and wonderful.

Anyway she told me how reiki had helped her. So I'm going to get some sessions with her as well as some counselling which she recommended.

So Has anyone try it and how did you find it.

I have been to reiki, I honestly can't say if it did anything for me but the woman i went to did tell me some interesting things, it was recommended to me by a friend because I had no energy and always feeling "not myself" but yet couldn't put my finger on what was wrong.
It did help, but I can't really explain how.

Thats totally uselss to you i know, but it can't hurt to try it!

Thanks zuzubart. It kinda does help as thats how I felt after just talking to her. It all made sense but I just don't know how. Ah sure its worth a shot.

You should definitely try it.. out of interest as much as anything! My aunt is a Master practitioner, but I didn't really know much about it or believe in it until recently. After breaking up with by boyf a few weeks ago my aunt did 4 days in a row of reiki, used crystals on 2 of the days and I'm not sure if it worked, but I always did feel very calm afterwards for a few hours. That was probably as much from chatting to her after the session than anything else. However, it was so fascinating the things she could tell me from it, and the amazing heat you feel from her hands!
She could tell on different days whether I was focused on the past/present or future, and told me on one of the days that my future was a very solid 'block' meaning I was focused and it would all be ok. It was great, go for it just to see what you think!
