Met Ball - Best and worst?
Who was your favourite and most hated at the Met Ball last night? I think my fav was Christina Ricci and the worst for me was Kristian Stewart. Seriously awful clothes. Here's a link and vogue have a list too: http://fashionista.com/2012/05/all-the-looks-from-the-2012-met-ball-red-carpet/schiaparelli-and-prada-impossible-conversations-costume-institute-gala-25/
My slightly random blog, full of outfits that I'll never wear and nail polish that I do http://notsowittywitterings.blogspot.com Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
I agree with Kristian Stewart but what about
Karen Elson and Alexa Chung, SJP... there are A LOT of awful clothes Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
Emily Blunt was my fave, thought she looked fab, loved her dress , make up & hair.
Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
I know. There is so much ugly it makes me want to cry. And did you see the guy in a lace nightshirt and white boxers?

My favourite - though she looks like she turned up the hem herself - and the arm candy's not bad either!
Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
Oh my GOD! WHAT are they all wearing?
Did you see the STATE of Beyonce? What was that dress. Sorry now, I know it's 'fashion' blah blah, I'm a philistine, but my JAYSIS! And SJP? And Florence from Florence and the Machine? She looked like a toilet roll holder. Is this what fashion is now? Hideous dresses that are just fashionable because the fashion industry tells us they are? HOW could any of them have stepped foot outside the door? I know everyone has different tastes, but come on, there were very very very few of those dresses that were in anyway pretty, or breathtaking, or made the wearer look good. Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
Good JAYSUS! The state of so many of them. Mary Kate Olsen's dress is beautiful but she looks about 80, it's bananas. Ol' lady Olsen. Donna Karan's flesh spillage is mesmerising. Hahahahah, can't stop laughing at the state of Marc Jacobs, what a Flip' eejit. MIA looks smokin' hot as always.

Next year I'm going to stand outside with plates of sandwiches and cakes. Nearly all of them (except Beyonce with her amazing body) look on the verge of death.

Claire Danes looked lovely, She has aged really well! B1tch!!
Some of the ones I thought WTF: Mary Kate Olsen is too tiny for that dress. It swamps her and she looks about 90! She looks really hunched over in it or something. The green one looks really badly fitting and not flattering at all. The white/ivory one reminds me of one of those toilet roll cover yokes And the gold one - just awful!
Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
Loved Hialry Swank, Claire Danes, Rhianna, Jessica Alba, Debra Messing, Solange Knowles, Dianna Argon, Scarlett Johansen, Emma Roberts, Cate Blanchett
MK Olsen looks like the old woman from Titanic, and Beyonce looks like a big walking ARSE!! Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
Poor Sarah Jessica Parker has fallen victim to the recession also - her designer had to reuse a pair of old curtains to make her dress!
Re: Met Ball - Best and worst?
Worst - Miuccia Prada, especially considering it was a show in honour of her work!
More good gowns - L'Wren Scott and Rooney Mara.
