On-line Clothes Catalogues

One of the numerous hazards of watching daytime tv is the lack of shelter during a storm of adverts that seem to made up of how to apply for a dodgy insurance claim and run in slow motion in catalogue gear. Both should appeal to me given the current state of my finances and wardrobe. Plus I'm a lazy b*stard. Anyone try these? Not talking your standard brands here, but Oxendales, Isme and the like.

Oxendales is full of overpriced shiite but particularly good for weird Christmas presents like personalised teapots and the like. They're currently selling cans of Sally Hansen for the bargalicious price of €19.99!!! :eek

Littlewoods isn't as bad but by jesus they like their interest & late fees. Their sizes are weird too. Simply be are overpriced. Never heard of the other one.

I'm a catalogue whore.

There's an ad for a free hearing aid too. Often meant to send off for that but remembered Nana going "mocking is catching" and I really don't want to be deaf for the wedding, not after the pain in the balls I had picking the music. ( I don't have said balls, but if I did, they'd be swollen.)

Think Isme is for the more mature woman. My hip rating took another nosedive recently when my mother and I both admired a dress in unison. I'm not coping very well with turning 40. Those bullet proof pubic hairs are now beginning to sprout up from my greying sense of fashion.
