Brought my dog to work and

I'm just so proud of her! She is been the perfect O:o)

(for a change) She is lying by my feet and if someone comes in she just looks up at them, if they ignore her she puts her head back down and ignores them too but if someone talks to her she sits in front of them wagging her tail and then lies back down again! I just wish she behaved this well at home :o0

I used to always see those golden retrievers with the collectors for the irish guide dogs and think why can't my retriever behave that well but here she is doing it - proud mummy :o)ll

Wow that's great that you can bring your dog to work - where do you work if you don't mind me asking? I would love a job where I could do that!

Awh that’s brilliant id love to bring my retrievers to work but there is no way they would be as well behaved as that! Plus I think the boss would put me and them out! Your so lucky you can bring yours to work.

you'd be surprised cupcakebabe - I certainly am! She is usually a live wire but is just so calm and well behaved today, everyone that has seen her said the same and are asking is she old cos she is so quiet!!! I work in a small office, me & 12 guys and the guys are generally in and out at jobs (sorry but don't want to mention the name). I asked my boss yesterday was it ok if I was to be about 1/2 hour late as I wanted to drop one of my dogs to the groomers and he said no bother. We then got talking about them and he said what about my other dog being on her own today (as in other dog will be at groomers) and that if I wanted she could come into the office with me as the lads would be out most of the day anyway etc! We don't get too many callers and the lads are in and out so she is just loving the company (of me) and attention of lads! We are just back from a long lunchtime walk and she is flat out beside me - wish I could bring her everyday :lvs

awhhh id love that to be able to bring mine to work. Thats great she is such a good dog. Mine would tear the place apart. Your so lucky you can do that

would love to bring my guy into work but there's no way anyone would be able to eat thier lunches.. he has this "im starving" look... which means feed me feed me....so he would drive the office mental.... :o0

Thats really nice of your boss to suggest that, is there room under the desk for the 2 of them for tomorrow??

I'd love to bring mine to work too, I only have her 2 weeks and I miss her so much during the day!
I did intend to take her out here during the day but we have a stupid doberman so I wouldnt trust him with her just yet. We have big grounds and farm yard etc so I probably will eventually, I dont think the boss would appreciate it before she's house trained though.

Oh how I wish Mrs W!

My boss just came in and she barked at him :-8

She was fast asleep and woke in a shock I think, she only barked once and then was fine so don't think he'll mind but he told me to leave early if I wanted so not sure if he is been nice or wants rid :o0

i'll miss her tomorrow, had a nasty call on the phone earlier and when I hung up she came over for cuddles and I didn't care anymore - very therapeutic!

I'd say he's just being nice, he wouldnt have suggested bringing her in if he wasnt. My boss thinks it would be really funny to see my 11 week old lab with his bloody doberman and thinks I'm spoiling her by having her in the house. At least mine isnt locked up in a yard all day! O:|

Really want to go home and see her now!

That is sooo lovely!!! Your lucky your dog is that good. Mine would get bored after a while and sit and cry (literally winge for attention lol)!!!
