Cat foaming at mouth after vet checkup

Can cats foam at the mouth when they are scared? He is a rescue cat and so scared of everything so bringing him to the vet was traumatic for him. Why would he be foaming at the mouth? Worried about our little guy :o(

i don't know but didn't want to read and not reply. I'd ring the vet and ask advice in case it could be a reaction to the tablet

Last time my dog got a sedative she was foaming at the mouth and dribbling terribley

Definitely ring the vet for advice as morningsun said could be a bad reaction to the meds. Our cat never did that but she did pee in her crate at the vets she was that scared..
