Rome wedding in tagliata.

Rome wedding in tagliata.

Postby cazzy_pdw » Thu Jan 22, 2022 10:15 am

Hey, well im new to this, trying to organise our wedding for may 2010 in italy and would like any info / advice we can get as just beginning to plan things and you can get a little lost sometimes lol! Our ideas so far are around a villa we found called Tagliata.Has anyone heard of this? it apparently has a church on grounds, accomodation, and cater for wedding receptions. It sounds great as it is only 22km from Rome and as we are from Cork it is important for us to pick a warm destination that guests can get to from Cork so Rome is my first idea. However if anyone has any suggetstion please it would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Tragliata Brides (Tragliata, not Tagliata).
You choose a wonderful place for your wedding. The Borgo is a perfectly restored old farmhouse which retains his ancient charm but with all modern comforts. In the summer you can lounge around the swimming pool and get a tan in preparation for your party. And if you are looking for band to get the party going, then do not hesitate to have a look at our website www.weddingbanditaly.com

This place looks fab! Has anyone had discussions with them about prices etc? With it being organic does that mean it is triple the price? Do they have a wedding package? Has anyone gone to see Casale Sant' Andres? Sorry for the million questions, I'm a tad excited! :o)ll

Cheers for the info Burke2B O-O

I know I pm'd info on Casale Sant Andrea to you but I thought I'd put it up here too. Casale Sant Andrea is another property owned by the same crowd that owns Borgo di Tragliata. There is a link to it on the B di T website. It's about 5kms away from Borgo di Tragliata (according to Google Maps) and is also a renovated farmhouse. From the website it appears to be slightly less rustic and more modern/polished looking. It has a lovely hall with a mezzanine level and very high beamed ceilings which they can put the weddings into. It looks lovely on the net, but I don't think it has the facilities that Borgo di Tragliata has. That said, it's only down the road! I'd imagine that the food would be the very same there as is in Borgo di Tragliata. I emailed Casale San Andrea for further info and got nothing back :o(

Missyelliot, how did your viewing trip go?

Wedding in Borgo Di Tragliata, Rome

Postby ItsMrsBurkenow » Tue Feb 10, 2022 11:38 am

Hi Roma

Oh yes, we were told about this. There is no accommodion so thought it would be a bit messy transporting people, just my opinion :-8

Borgo has it all in one place i think. Missy what did you think of it :o)ll
