Seeing as the 2011 brides have one....!

Getting married in Frigiliana church then onto Albayzin del Mar for reception in May next year, very excited!!!!

What's everyone else's plans?

Were in April 2012 going over in May to pick our venue either Sunset Beach Club or H10 Estepona very excited, have you been over yet ? :o)ll

Yep, I was over last week to meet our WP and view venues and church. Nerja is GORGEOUS, as is that whole area of Spain.

Do you mean the Sunset Beach club in Benelmadena? Would you believe I am going there for a week in June after a friends wedding in Malaga?! We drove past it last week when over there and it looks really lovely, right beside the beach - and a few nice bars beside the pool!

We're sept 2012 in el salvador! Cant wait, going over in the summer to check out venues and get ball rolling properly although at the moment it seems so far away but i imagine it'll come round in no time and everything will happen at once - thats my excuse for spending hours online faffing about on all the small things at the minute

Hi Nerja Brides 2012

I am all set for April 2012 in El Salvador Chuch Nerja and then on to Torres de San Juan for the reception. Just put deposit down on my dress today!!! :yelrotflmaosmilie:

Am so excited. Heading over hopefully in October to finalise suppliers etc

Oh Kitty, that's so exciting! I have a dress already but trying to sell it as it's not suitable for Spain - weighs about 3 stone!! Was supposed to be getting married in Wexford! Going to get a very simple light dress made - am going to attempt to channel Greek goddess chic with the new one.

Hi all Nerja 2012 Brides! We are getting married on 8th June 2012; Maro church and then Marinas de Nerja for the reception. We are going back over in October for a week and I hope to cram loads in then. We plan on staying in the Perla Marina the week of the wedding. Is anybody else staying there? Or does anybpdy have any other recommendations for accommodation?Thanks!

Sorry to butt in when i'm a 2011 bride lol, but we stayed at Perla Marina when we got engaged and it's lovely. Toboso is prob better placed etc, but Perla Marina we got for a brilliant deal, asked for a sea view room and every morning I opened our curtains, got back in bed and just looked out to sea. Opposite the promenade and the beach (if you manage to get into the main building) and staff all brilliant. Breakfast not so good but ok for price and for the usual tea/toast/cereal. Not bad, just not great. Because it's a little (tiny) walk into town you also get to see a few other bars and restaurants along the way that you may not get to see otherwise. All in all a great choice and i'll never forget our time there! xx

Oh and also check out Calabella apartments - we went in to see one when we were last there, right in the centre and gorgeous. If you get a 2 bed you get sea views ...got to see it to appreciate! x

Thanks for replying re the Perla Marina, its great to hear that you would recommend it!! I will definitely be going for a seaview room, I think its def worth the extra 10 euro a night. I will also have a look at the apartments you recommended, thanks!
