I just saw your email and thought id drop you a line. Thats terrible that your band has fallen through especially when ye loved them so much!!! :o(

. My Fiance and I are getting married in Costa Del Sol too next year and we've booked a fantastic band called Double Cocktail, they're absolutely BRILLIANT!!!!!! :eek

. My twin brother had them for his wedding in June in Portugal and they absolutely rocked the place!! They provided the music in the church, which was gorgeous, they were the MC for the wedding, the band later and also disco, they were unbelievable! Honestly the BEST wedding band I have ever seen!!! The dancefloor was hopping all night with all age groups! My parents are still raving about them!! When we decided to have our wedding in Nerja, they were one of the 1st people we contacted to see if they travel to Costa Del Sol and they do, so without any hesitation we booked them!! Steffi and DAve are the main people, they are lovely and so accomadating and very reasonable in price too. They are definitely worth taking a look at, you wont be disappointed!! Best of luck :wv

I just had a listen to Monkey Tennis. They are amazing. Do they online play in Spain? I am getting married in Portugal in August and that is just the type of band I'm looking for!

because she had them at her wedding and liked them a lot. But then I emailed them and one guy came back and said it had disbanded, so now I'm wondering if it is the band Ruby is talking about?

I have contacted Monkey Tennis myself, and might go for them. Costa Band is about twice as expensive, but bigger band. Will have a think about it!

I've booked Monkey Tennis! I've booked the 6 band members to play 3 *45 minute sets. I reckon a band of 6 is loads. Most Irish wedding bands I've seen had 3 members and they got everyone up dancing. I can't even imagine how good 6 will be, lol. I'm off to Spain for 10 days in March and hope to drop into listen to Monkey Tennis in that bar/restaurant they play in on friday nights.

Oh, where do they play on Friday nights? I haven't got quite as far as booking them, so many questions! I suppose I'll just ask them directly. I might drop by some Friday to hear them.

They play in Moochers Jazz Cafe fuengirola http://www.moochersjazzcafe.com/live-music Apartently just 3 band members play there but they can have up to 6 band members.

Let me know what you think of them if you do get a chance to call in one Friday.

Weeeeeeeeell, actually I was going to go to Marbella this evening, as they told me they were playing there at 6, but a lunch overran (even for a Spanish lunch it was late!) but they said they are playing as a six piece next Saturday in Fuengirola...it's a bit further, but should be worth it. Will report back!

Did you get to see them? Am considering them at the moment, wish some of the youtube clips were clearer! :-(

I didn't actually get to listen to them in person. I just went by the youTube clips. Plus I've got a good friend living on the costa and she loves them. I listened to loads of clips online and thought alot of them had a big cheese factor. Moneky Tennis I thought didn't have any of that, loved them. I'm trusting my gut on this on

ive done the same and trusted my gut and booked Monkey tennis! have a call with Michael set up for next week but love their playlist! Hoping our first dance can be learned with no issue, its in the same line that they play so fingers crossed!!
