Anyone tried Deanna/SMEP plan?

Hi All

Just wondering if any of you have tried the Deanna (SMEP - Sperm Meets Egg :eek) Plan?

This will be our 4th month TTC and was going to give it a go. Its all detailed on the sticky at the top of the forum ("Try" every other day from CD8, till you get a positive on OPK, then that day and following 2 days, then rest for one day and then BD one final day).

Willlng to give anything a go, would truly love a BFP in January *)

Any thoughts???

Certainly give it a try... I suppose its only common sense really, to make sure you get enough bding in at the right time!

Just informed DH that he will be participating in the SMEP plan this month - GOD LOVE HIM - he was just like, no bother, count me in....... Wondering if he actually even listens to what I am saying half the time :o0

I will let you know how I get on. Today is only CD5, so there a long way to go!

I'm trying it too, didn't ovulated last month (so I was wasting my time and energy :o0 ) but this month I'm a bit more hopeful. On CD 22, and DH is loving this plan way more than the last one :o0

Some of the info on that link is a bit iffy Shala, like the % chance of miscarriage is 10%, I thought it was closer to 20/25%?

The plan is very well explained though, in easy to understand language.

Does anyone know why it's recommended for after a m/c rather than a general recommendation?

I thought it was funny reminding is to 'release the sperm' at least once between OV and Day 8 of the next cycle, it's like men are just machines :o0

I think the 20 to 25% is related to before AF is due and 10% after your AF is due? I know the chances of m/c decrease a lot even at 6 weeks.

Yep that's why they don't recommend taking hpt's before af is due.

That's good to know! I thought the 25 % covered the whole 1st 12 weeks!
