Happieout so sorry to hear ur news. Please god its a blockage and it can be fixed. I know its hard but dont give up hope u will get there in the end :action32

IUI lsl thats good though they obviously move quick in the clinics :eek Dont worry about the weight gain sure u wont be long losing it and when u get ur BFP ul be putting on weight and not losing it :)

Im on CD27. I guess AF is due Sunday ish. No signs. No sore boobs which is unusual for me as I always have that before AF arrives. TMI had some whitish cm this morning so I have a feeling the witch is on the way as I do get that sometimes when AF is due 2! Ah well if AF arrives il be glad that at least my cycles are back to normal. Have to ring for my CD21 blood results today. Not sure how accurate they will be as havent a clue when/if I ovulated :eek

How is everyone else doing? I know there was someone who was on exactly the same cycle days as me??!!!

Petri, best of luck for the weekend. Here's hoping that no AF arrives and you have good news. It's well deserved!

I spoke to a nurse at Sims and have scheduled another blood test to check my thyroid levels - I just want to make sure that this Eltroxin is working. It's been six weeks since I started it (actually six weeks today). So blood test on Monday morning - with a bit of luck I'll get the results back quickly.

Happieout I am so, so sorry to hear your news, I truely am, as are everyone on here. As another poster said, we are all here at the start of the process of finding out why we haven't our bfp's yet. You are not alone. You and your O/H will get there, it'll be a longer journey and I know its isn't one bit fair. Take care of yourselves :action32 xx

Hope everyone else is doing ok? FFS re the weight gain!!! Me too though...I've been hauling my fat ass round the roads near where I live for the past few weeks and yes I have PUT ON WEIGHT...look maybe its muscle we're gaining ;o) Managed to jog for 30 mins straight this morning so chuffed with that! Good for you Jewellb, I think bread is Dr Evil.

Latest update for me is that O/H got his bloods done 2 weeks ago at our GP's and rang fertility clinic last Wed to see if they had them. They didn't...after much to-ing and fro-ing it emerged that the bloods ended up in the wrong lab (waterford not cork!!) and that apparently they'd been labelled correctly by the practice nurse in the GP's but the label fell off in transit and an old label with the waterford lab address was underneath (they recycle the boxes for transporting the bloods)....Now that just takes the ridcolous to a new level!....I'm laughing about it now but was fit to be tied when I heard :weep

Best of look anyone thinking of testing or on the 2ww.. :babydust: :babydust: fx for you Petri.

Happie out, I am so so sorry about your news. Please take care of yourself & you husband (and vica versa). Dont lose hope, you WILL become parents. Sims in the most adanced clinic in the coutry and will find a way. :action32 :action32

Ladies - I cam across this blog http://thepitter-patter.blogspot.com/ when i was feeling very down & it helped give me hope and lifted my spirts. A lovely girl wrote about her difficult journey getting pregnent & now has a beautiful baby. The "infertility sucks" tab at the top gives a summery of her journey. Worth a read for sure.

Afm - still no peak on day 18. Which it would hurry up as I have bloods booked for next week. Fellow CBFM users, I usually take the high after the 2 peaks as 1dpo.

Girls does anyone know anything about day 21 bloods?

Right so I got these blood tests last week on CD20 cos 21 was a saturday. I am now on CD27 and no AF yet. Spoke to the doc and he reckons that he did bloods on wrong day as he reckons I hadnt ovulated and will have a longer cycle this month. So what does this mean? Like if I get AF on Sunday say does this mean I didnt ovulate or whats the situation? I didnt use opks this month.

Not sure Petri, it coul be that you ovulated later then day 14, therefore day 21 would be much too early for the test. Its my understanding that it tests for progesterone & that needs to be quite high to show ovulation. But if for example you ovulated day 18 & have a 14 day luteal phase you should not get your period untill day 32. You would still have ovulated but a test on day 20 would be way too early to have shown it.

How long are they usually (i think i remember you had a super short one last time?)

Thanks Ninja Next :)

Yeah last month I had a super early cycle at 17 days (which never happens). Doc said it was probably a once off and hes not worried. All my CD3 bloods and general bloods were fine. My cycles are usually from 25 - 31 days but maybe the average would be 29 days or so. I did think I had ovulated early BUT when I didnt get any sore boobs that idea went out the window. I ALWAYS get sore boobs before AF arrives :eek Lots of cm this month so Id be shocked if I didnt ovulate. Anyway I guess I just call him back when AF arrives and get them redone next month just to be sure! If I did ovulate late this month I guess Im out as DTD every 2nd day up to CD15 and then didnt dtd again til CD20 ah well what can you do.

you never know though sperm can hang around a good few days!!

If you do get Af I would def get the day 21 done again (you wont need day 3 done again if everything was fine). Maybe use opks next month to get the day right. its so hard trying to get the date spot on.

Ninja, thanks so much for that link, what a lovely blog and lovely story. I just skimmed through but will definitely give it a look over the next few days.

My run helped my mood - endorphin rush definitely kicked in. So much that I've decided to join a gym - there was a special offer for three month membership and I just decided to go for it. It's close to work so can go before, after or even at lunchtime. I think I need a bit of a push and whilst some of it is down to the Eltroxin, I know at least a few pounds are just from comfort eating. I need to kick up the level of exercise a lot. There's a nice pool too, and a colleague and a friend are already members. Will be back on the "Run, Fat TTCer, Run" thread next week!!

I also put a picture of me and my dh on our honeymoon in New York beside desk - skinny me will motivate me better than anything else!

Outta here guys, best of luck to those testing.

Hi girls

Really sorry I havent been on in a while. It all got too much for me. Just hit a very low point after my sil annouced her pregnancy. And of course af arrived bang on time and was rediciously heavy. Anyway bite the bullet and made an apt to see the doc. I'm sure she thinks I am crackers as I had the same discussion 2 years previously and then got pg 2 weeks later. Anyway got bloods taken is was cd 2 as day 3 was on the weekend. Got referral for dh for sa so need to make an appointment for that. The bloods came back grand. Am a bit worried about my fsh. It was 8.2 this time and was 6.7 before I got pg with dd. I knopw doc said she likes it to be under 10 so she will view it as being grand. Anyone have similiar fsh levels? She was lovely as per usual and told me to stop beating myself up. she wouldn't prescribe me clomid. Said we would need to go to fertility clinic for that. Those of you who went to sims how long werre you waiting for appointment,

Trying to be a bit more postive about things. Got some she oak it is meant to help with the stress of ttc which I think it is a bit. am still feeling down about it but not as emotional. i suppose I sort of feel numb about it all. have heard 3 preganancy announcements in the last 2 weeks so they throw me as you all know. using the cbfm for the first time this month. Got peak on cd 12 and think I ovd on cd13. As usual we timed dtd well. we dtd cd 8, 10, twice on cd 12 (which is a first for us as I read it depletes sperm but said feck it doing things by the book hasn't paid off!) , cd 13 and 14. On cd 16 today so on my dreaded 2ww.

Girls caught up on you all, too many people to mention.Sorry for not being around but just needed a break.
Just want to say Happieout so sorry to hear your news hun. No words of comfort. Just know we are all hear for you. :xxx

Smalltalk I hope you are doing ok. I know what you mean by it all getting too much and hitting a low point. It really is a kick in the stomach when everyone around you is getting pregnant and it's not happening for you. Keep the chin up - its not easy but it's all we have

Afm no peak yet yet and on cd 19. OH is gone to the uk Ang I know I'll peak while he is away! We dtd lots over the weekend but I reckon that this month is not going to be our month but at least I won't be expecting a BFP

His did the tests go over the weekend?

hey ladies,

did anyone test over the weekend?

Small talk I have an appointment in sims next month & it was around a 6 week wait. Sounds like you have a proactive doc though which is great.

AFM well on day 21 here & no peak on my cbfm (Highs since day 10). Very weird as pretty sure i ovulated day 18 as usual - has ewcm, sore boobs & 2 strong lines on the stick! really dont get it??? I am getting + 7 bloods done on friday so I suppose that will tell me either way. Bit upset though as this is our last chance to get a bfp before our appointment in sims. So on a bit of a weird 2ww this month!

You never know ninja u might get lucky this month :)

Im on CD30 today but as the doc said he reckons Il have a longer cycle this month so didnt do any testing! Id say AF will arrive tomorrow or Wednesday Im guessing as 31 days usually my max cycle length but no signs yet either way. Am staying away from the tests maybe il test next week if no AF arrives by then but not very hopeful this month as we didnt dtd enough after CD15 so probably missed ovulation :eek

Whos up next??? We are due a BFP :)
