coming up to ovulation time..here we go again!

Hya every one,
So im on CD 7 and havent thought much of the whole ttc thing until today and i did the 'what day are you now' thought.
I know there are many of ye who will have thought the same as me but its just to get that 'excited' feeling back on ttc again.
God it would be lovely to have the ideal world on this but with a few months now of BFNs after my miscarriage and when i thought that i might be in with luck, well, its taking some of the good feelings out of it all and then poor DH is trying his best too. So, i suppose im looking for some PMA here girls and let the games begin (in a few days time!!) I really hope and hope for a BFP in May..... O-O

It does take the good out of it doesn't it? Even now i feel like that, and feel awful for feeling like that. I guess that has to be expected so take what excitement you can from it. Once you get to testing time you'll be like a child with the excitement.

Hi Colabottle! Could have written your post last week! I've had 2 mc (one in Sept 11 and a mmc in Dec 11). I'm on CD15 now. Got a smiley face

on OPK yesterday! Like you I'm trying to stay positive! I'm really excited and I'm trying to keep any negative thoughts at bay! Looking forward and not backwards.... Let's hope May is our month.

What awful bad weather too for you to be stuck indoors :o0

I really hope that you get your BFP this month too, its hard after a miscarriage to get positive on it all, but fingers crossed this will be our month.
Did you test again today and see a smiley face??

The sun is shining again so not the weather for being indoors :o0

I just tested the once colabottle - one :o0

is all I need to get the go ahead :o0

Had pains in my right side all day yesterday so I'm presuming I ovulated! I don't temp so I'm not 100% sure but hopefully we got there in time! I monitor CM and use OPKs but will definitely look into charting temps next cycle.

I'm counting today as DPO1

Whereabouts are you now in the cycle?

Those pains are a fab sign on your right side! Hope it was still lashing rain with you yesterday! ;o)

Im only on day 9 so will start to pee on the OPks tomorrow onwards.
I had 3 +ve OPKs last month (maybe i should be more like you and just see one to know its positive for sure!, 'tis the divel in me though that does it again just so be sure!!

)
I have my preseed too at the ready (am hoping hubby wont notice me using this stuff!, lord above where did i lose the plot trying for a baby and im only sending myself cracked!) :o0

Its my first time to use preseed so ;o)

I really hope we all get +ve results this time mamalily.

Hi colabottle I hope you are doing ok, it's not easy this ttc
I am finding it hard to find a balance between being informed and being obsessed!
This site is great to find information and support but I think it's easy to get too caught up in counting days etc
I'm trying to relax but it's so hard when you want to give yourself every chance you can
I was going to join the May train but I couIdn't quite get up the nerve, I swing between being optimisic about the next cycle and being afraid to get my hopes up too much
I'm on CD11, I also stop testing once I see the first smiley face which is hopefully in a few days time
Good luck with the preseed, he shouldn't notice but you could always make it part of the fun >:o)

Hi colabottle - we got to BD on the day we got the

on the opk but that was it! Had all the intentions of BD on Tuesday night - the setting was perfect - raining outside, fire on, up to bed early - then we both conked!!!!! I woke up early the next morning and couldn't believe we fell asleep :o0

ah sure I have to laugh or I'll drive myself insane. No point in beating up DH for no action :o0

We're not in the running for "most DTD of the month" award but sure at least we got to BD before the big "O". Still hoping we're in with a chance this month. Taking your PMA approach this time!

Im CD 10 today, so will start trying tomorrow night onwards. (i ususally ovulate around CD 15-16). Ive my preseed at the ready, and so far DH is up for all sorts of requests :o0

(this way, that way, legs up!!!) Your dead right though on what you said, you have to laugh at this cause it could drive you mad otherwise. Heres like you said to luck being on our side this month :babydust:

Hey there all..
Well im still waiting on my +ve OPK to get the licence to go full throttle! :o0

Had a lovely romantic night on Friday night in the tub, enjoying the extra day off work tomorrow. O-O

Out to meet with frineds tonight.
Used the preseed the other night too. Huybby didnt even know and was really good, slippy! :o0

Fingers crossed, i usually get a good bit of EWCM most months but was glad of my preseed on Friday cause not much at all yet. CD 13, hows about you mamalily??. Hope that 2WW rollercoaster isnt going too bad for you so far!

Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend
I'm good but a bit confused, I'm CD16 today but still no smiley face even though I've started to see ewcm, I'm going to keep testing obviously but I'm not sure what's going on.
I had a chemical pregnancy/very early mc last cycle (AF was 4 days late) I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1, so I think there a few possibilities

maybe I'm not going to ovulate this cycle
maybe ovulation is just going to be a bit later this month
OR I ovulated early

I'm starting to think I ovulated early, I started testing CD10 but this would have been CD14 if I went from my previous cycle days iykwim
If I did ovulate before starting testing we might still have caught it but I'm not feeling overly confident
I guess I'm just feeling a bit down and second guessing myself isn't helping, I was trying to be optimistic this cycle but I'm sorta afraid to get my hopes up again, turns out I'm not very good at this relaxing and not thinking about it!
anyway hope everyone is having fun >:o)
